A leader in the Short term insurance field requires the

services of a New Business Underwriter


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • RE5
Experience:
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of system ledger and account
  • Strong understanding of sales
Other skills:
  • English
  • Xhosa speaking
  • Other African languages advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Good follow up skills
  • Excellent inter personal skills
  • Friendly
  • Sales & service orientated.
  • Neat and organized

Ma Main Role includes but not limited to:
  • source new clients
  • underwrite new business according to verbatim
  • script
  • maintain and grow existing book of business
  • provide customer satisfaction
  • support brokers in closing deals
  • negotiate and collate various pricing options
  • attend to new leads within turnaround time
  • keep brokers informed of their lead status
  • ensure information captured is accurate and
  • complete
