I am looking for a debtors/credit controller or Debtors Supervisor position and I have the following attributes
Allocate all payments onto accounts
Executing new customer credit applications within set business days
Maintain Journals and the reconciliation of accounts
On-going interaction with
customers, sales, customer service, credit personnel, and other internal and
external customers
Review and maintain customer
credit files
Financial analysis of high
exposure and high risk accounts
Evaluate credit risk and payment
trends
Review credit blocked orders - Release
orders on hold within the credit facilities granted
Release sales orders according to
credit vetting rules
Resolve all account queries
Follow up on unpaid invoices and provide
necessary documentation to clients .Compile
debtor correspondence in accordance with legislation and standard procedures
(Letters of demands) .Identify
and communicate collection issues with management to minimize business risk .Provide
invoice copies and proofs of delivery to the customer .Identify
payment terms and billing disputes .
Research
and resolve duplicate or partial payment .Work
with Customer Service, Sales and customers to resolve collection issues .
Provide a customer statement of account to customers as need
