Hobie Teddy for sale: This is a resort style Hobie Cat that is designed for fun easy sailing. It is 13ft long, so smaller than a Hobie 14 but the hulls are much more buoyant so it can easy take two adults, or one adult with two children. This is a super fun boat that is easy and forgiving to sail. Perfect for entry level sailors who want to have fun, stress free sailing. Features: The hull in made out of roto mold (plastic). This makes it stronger and can withstand a collision a lot better than a traditional fiberglass hull. You can drag the boat along the slipway without a worry. The only problem is that it is slightly heavier than fiberglass. The boat is very capable in the sea. It is perfect for close shore sailing or lagoon/estuary sailing. It comes to a trapeze wire (one on each side). Sails are still in good condition and have been well looked after. The boat is ready to sail and has everything you need. It has been set up to be as simple as possible. We have had many years of fun sailing this Hobie. Problems: The hulls do leak slightly and need to be drained after use. We have fitted additional bungs to make this easier. It comes with a trailer which is unlicensed with some problems. However, it will get you to your destination. Reason for selling: We have moved on to a bigger Hobie.Price is negotiable

Morwenna recently returned from a successful six year circumnavigation and has now received a make over and full maintenance and she is ready for her next ocean voyages.
She is a 50’ solid monohull ketch with a hull length of 38’ (12 m). She was designed, built and rigged for safety on the KISS principles for relaxed and challenging adventures alike. Built in South Africa beyond her specs for our difficult conditions and launched in 2003.
Inside she is roomy with rustic wooden furnishings, while outside the deck is very safe for work and pleasure and the hull can withstand scrapes with rocks and reefs - and other boats :).
Morwenna easily navigates open ocean waters and tight spots with a strong engine that can push her to hull speed, various self-steering methods, and a full set of sails for heavy weather and light wind conditions, plus spares.
I usually sailed Morwenna solo though sometimes with crew, and we had lots of fun on her and she kept us safe in all conditions.
Morwenna is in turn key condition and ready for her next circumnavigation adventure.

Tosca 36, centre cockpit with wheel steering in cockpit, mono hull, sloop-rigged full cruising yacht designed by Angelo Lavranos. Build in Cape Town in 1988, by Fred Scholtz Marine in fibre glass, to withstand the tough South African water and conditions. The rig is delightfully simple with double spreader affair with twin mast head rollers (Harken Pro-furl) Genoa and Jib with UV strips. The mainsail is fully battened, with stack pack and lazy jacks. (+one spare) Under the deck, she is beamy and very spacious with lots of storage space. Finished of with white melamine and teak trim that creates a cosy and convenient ambiance. The saloon has comfortable seating for seven people with new cushions and a large saloon table in the middle with flaps that fold down. The aft cabin is airy with a large double berth to port side (2.10m x 1.20m) and a small sofa on starboard side, there are lots of cupboards with hanging and packing space. The fore cabin has a wide v berth, 2.00m wide by 2.00m long. The single heads is light and airy. NavStation on starboard and galley on port side. The cockpit is lovely with lots of deep secure seating, with cushions two meters long and the mouldings supports your back comfortably. There is also a fabulous deep, lazarette on your port side, two smaller ones and a teak folding cockpit table. Being beamy, light and roundish, they are good trade-wind cruisers and very comfortable. Reaching would be the preferred point of sail. It is high and dry above the water and makes life very pleasant for the long duty watch or the drinking parties. Contact me for more info.
