“The wilderness is something special. To me, the only way to experience the real spirit of Africa is on foot. Away from the noise and turmoil of modern society, it truly helps you to get your terrestrial problems into perspective.†– Norman Carr, Kakuli Kruger’s Private Bush Camps are located in the exclusive Timbavati and Klaserie private game reserves, which are part of the Big Five Greater Kruger National Park. Situated on riverbeds, surrounded by Leadwood, Mopane and Acacia trees or shaded by huge Jackalberry trees, these authentic, unfenced 8-bedded tented camps have a real African charm typically enhancing that true wilderness feeling. With a focus on experience rather than luxury the maximum of 8 guests sleep “safari style†under canvas in twin-bedded Meru-style tents, linen and towels provided. Hot showers and flush toilets are separate but closely situated between the tents, so easily accessible to all the guests. Bush walks and game drives accompanied by an experienced and knowledgeable guide, are offered early in the morning, late in the afternoon and at night. The camps have no electricity, but there is solar lighting in the tents, bathrooms, kitchen and dining areas and there are candles, paraffin lanterns and a camp fire to guide you around at night. Due to the remoteness of the camps and exclusivity of the areas, and to enhance quality game sightings, the min stay that is required is 3 nights. Packages are available from Fri-Mon (3 nights) or Mon-Fri (4 nights). A shuttle service between Johannesburg and the meeting point is available every Monday and Friday – the list of collection/drop-off points will be made available on confirmation. Self-drives: The meeting point is at a local Bush Pub on the Timbavati Road, from where you will be taken in a 4x4 Landrover into the Greater Kruger NP. Arrival and departure time at the Bush Pub is 11.00 am. Directions to the meeting point will be made available upon confirmation. Fly-ins at Eastgate Airport Hoedspruit: Pick-ups and drop-offs at Eastgate Airport Hoedspruit on Mondays and Fridays are at 11.30 am and free of charge. Arrival and departure later than 11.30 am are subject to additional charges.FurnishedProperty Reference #: 330271Nearby Places/Vicinity:http://www.safarinow.com/go/krugerprivatebushcamp/Agent Details:www.safarinow.com153 Main roadMuizenberg7945
