Job Title: Private Family Soccer Coach for Youth
Location: Parklands
About The Family:
We are a family deeply passionate about soccer, looking to provide our children with the best possible foundation in the sport. Our children are brothers aged under 7, under 10, under 18, and under 21. Each of them has shown a keen interest and talent in soccer, and we are committed to nurturing their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Soccer Coach to provide private coaching to our four sons. This unique position requires a coach who is adaptable, patient, and skilled in tailoring training programs to suit different age groups and skill levels. The coach will work closely with our family to develop each child’s abilities and foster a positive and enjoyable soccer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored training programs for each child, considering their age, skill level, and developmental needs.
- Focus on technical skills, tactical understanding, physical fitness, and psychological aspects appropriate for each age group.
- Schedule and conduct regular training sessions, with flexibility to adjust based on the family’s schedule.
- Provide continuous assessment and feedback to track progress and areas for improvement.
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for the game.
- Coordinate with the family on goals, expectations, and long-term development plans for each child.
- Ensure a safe and productive training environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a soccer coach, with specific experience coaching youth in the age ranges of under 7, under 10, under 18, and under 21.
- Relevant coaching certifications -Optional (a plus, or equivalent diplomas).
- Strong understanding of youth development in soccer, including technical, tactical, physical, and psychological components.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young players.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate the family’s timing needs.
- A positive, patient, and encouraging coaching style.
- First Aid and CPR certifications
- Must pass a background check.
