Merlon Self-catering House is a charming and simple but comfortable holiday home situated in the picturesque village of Betty’s Bay. Located close to Stony Point, and within a kilometre of Silversands Beach; the house offers a home away from home experience to recharge your batteries from the stresses of city life. The house offers self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people, in five bedrooms and three bathrooms. Bedrooms One and Five contain king-size beds, and Bedrooms Two, Three and Four have single beds. The beds in Bedrooms Two and Three can be converted into king-size beds if required, by prior arrangement. Bedrooms One and Five have en-suite facilities, one with a bath and shower, the second with only a shower. The third bathroom is a large family sized one with shower and bath. Come and enjoy the 200 plus TC linen to make your rest and recharge extra special. The large farmhouse-style kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, electric oven, dishwasher, toaster, fridge, microwave, chest freezer, crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. For your convenience, we leave some of our kitchen consumables for guests to use while at the property, such as salt and pepper, olive oil, tea and coffee, spices, Dishwashing liquid for dishes, detergent for the dishwasher, black bags and toilet paper. You need only bring your delicious food stuff, drinks, beach towels and personal toiletries. Own wood to be obtained from the garage or superette in Bettys Bay, for the two braais on wheels. Braai grids and braai tongs are provided for use during your stay.There is no music system, intentionally so, to enhance the peaceful ambience of the establishment, however DStv is available for those cold winter nights when you cannot be outside. A DVD player also available. If you find yourself having to be indoors, several board games are provided to keep both kiddies and adults entertained, such as 30 Seconds, Junior Scrabble, Dominos, Snakes and Ladders, Ludo, Uno, cards and Zanzibar Boa.
