During high rainfall periods, the river can be 140m wide.RIVER CAMPThe River camp is 112ha in extent with the majority being arable land. This is the ideal site to plant an irrigation crop. The property had water rights and a pump house was erected during its planting days. Its since been removed. The mother centre irrigation line is still present. It has a natural strong border with the buffalo river. And the ground adjacent the river too have a natural bordery of the Ncome river. This keeps the area clean of any settlements.NGOBESE CAMPNgobese’s Camp is the largest camp. Bheki and Lizzy Ngobese are residents in the furthrest corner, and emplyees on this camp. Its mostly grasing land and is about 145ha in extent. It borders on the Nyende River and is a constant scourse of water for grazing animals. The carrying capsity is 2.5ha per LSU.
