Logistics Operations Manager required at a logistics company in Midrand.
Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to
* Retaining and acquiring business through exceptional service delivery and relationship building;
* Maintaining standardised policies and procedures of operations across the department;
* Performing regular operational audits to ensure compliance and providing month end/quarterly reports;
* Coordinating of the Operations team work, delegating and splitting tasks, in order to ensure the department runs smoothly;

* Assist to ensure all employees are aware of Health and Safety and carry out daily tasks in the safest possible working environment;
* Ensure drivers adhere to the accidents notification and procedures, all serious accidents to be professionally evaluated and the reports vetted and signed off by the General Manager.

A busy workshop in East London is looking for a
permanent Diesel
Mechanic.
This position will require travelling to our project sites throughout the
Eastern Cape, which may include overtime and overnight travel.
Candidates must have a clear criminal record, be in
good health & be in possession of a valid driver’s licence.
Requirements:
Trade tested diesel mechanic with 8 – 10 years of (mechanical,
hydraulic, and electrical) experience. MUST INCLUDE YELLOW PLANT AND TRUCK
EXPERIENCE. Work will also include services and repairs to small plant.Must be able to overhaul engines, perform services, correctly
diagnose faults, and carry out maintenance & repairs on both trucks
and yellow plant.General working knowledge of auto electrical systems (ignition,
starting, charging, illumination).Ability to identify and correctly utilise relevant diagnostic
equipment and specialised tools (candidate to have their own basic tools).Valid drivers’ license, code 8 or above.Experienced in the operation of a variety of tools, welding
