Scrubbing in Theatre for Cardio Thoracic
Key Responsibilities:
• Assessment, planning and implementation as a Theatre Scrub Nurse scrubbing for Cardio Thoracic procedures
• Evaluate and record of nursing care
• Provide quality nursing care Identify problems and determine appropriate action
• Actively participate as team member to assist in the completion of tasks
• Actively participate in sustaining effective doctor, staff and patient relationships
• High professional standards and a commitment to your own development
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Applicants for this position must:
• Registered Nurse registered with SANC
• 2-3 years’ experience in theatre preferred
• Scrubbing for Cardio Thoracic would be a huge advantage
• Technical knowledge and skill
• Skilled in all basic nursing procedures as well as procedures specific to the operating theatre environment
• Appropriate qualification for ICU would be an added advantage.
