Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the program; assisting the Chief of Party in preparing quarterly / annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis; collecting and analyzing data in accordance with the Activity, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Plan (AMELP). Washes and cleans mine vehicles and equipment. Operates the TMM wash bay area and monitors and schedules the washing of
TMM equipment/machinery.
Advises superiors of issues noted with TMM equipment as they go to the wash bay area - for instance mechanical or other defaults
noted.
Performs safety inspections of the wash bay area and ensures all pumps and pipes are running, and maintain register accurately.
*KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS*
1. Take responsibility for the wash bay area:
• Housekeeping and HSE.
• Daily planning.
• Attend daily toolbox talk.
• Perform pre task risk assessment and safe work declarations.
• Reporting on deviations, accidents, incidents and near misses.
2. Receives vehicle or equipment against wash bay requisition:
• Ensure documentation is correctly completed and processed.
• Direct drivers to designated areas.
• Ensures that machines are parked safely and stop blocks are applied before washing commences or resumes.
3. Maintain sub store for cleaning materials and consumables:
• Order, receive and stock a sufficient supply of detergents, cleaning materials and other consumables as required to perform daily duties.
4. Wash and clean:
• Utilize steps, ladders, hoses, pressure hoses, brooms, brushes, cloth, detergents, vacuum cleaners and other to clean and wash vehicles and equipment. (Inside and out)
5. Compiling and submitting daily, weekly and monthly wash bay register.
6. Manages customer expectations and requirements by providing a friendly and efficient wash bay service.
7. Takes ownership of customer complaints and uses common sense and insight to resolve issues and problems accurately and timeously.
8. Actively contribute to the services team by assisting with all and any team activity as and when required.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED*
• Grade 12 / Matric
• First Aid and Fire Fighting Training will be advantageous. (Once employed the incumbent will be expected to successfully complete First Aid and Fire Fighting training)

* Maintenance experience with various pumps, valves, hydraulics, fans, gearboxes, turbines, boilers, burners etc.
* High level computer literacy with vast experience in Excel
* Experience and understanding of engineering drawings, P&IDs, quality documentation and document control.
* Fluently speaks, reads and writes in English
* Valid drivers license
