Our Company is looking for a Technician that has
experience with working, servicing, fixing and knowing the running process of
the following machinery, Cut and Sew machines, Reel-to-reel Flexo In-Line Print
machines, Bale press machines and stitching machines.
Job purpose: Ensuring all machines are
fully functional and operating correctly. Maintaining and fixing machines when
necessary.
Responsible for: Settings,
Repair and Maintenance of all machines.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and repairs and setting of all
machines within the Factory.
·
Identification of fault on a machine.
·
Changing needles on stitching machines.
·
Basic setup and settings for cut and sew
machines, example eye mark sensor setup.
·
Changing or fixing belts on machines knowledge
of pneumatic cylinders.
·
Identification of parts that needs to be
replaced on machines (sprockets and chains).
·
Ensure bags open correctly.
·
Ensure stitching folds are correct.
·
Check that printing is correct while the machine
is running.
·
Approve prints before printing can take place.
·
Stock take and stock management on engineering
stock.
·
Help other technicians carry out work inside
workshop (Team Player).

Bottling Plant seeks a Maintenance Manager to be accountable for maintaining quality, standards, service and desired outputs within inter-related functional areas of responsibility. You will set frameworks of policies and procedures and take accountability for managing operational projects within the maintenance space, ensuring infrastructure maintenance initiatives are carried out successfully within agreed timeframes, cost and scope. You will also manage ad hoc maintenance requests, ensuring issues are addressed within agreed SLAs. You need exposure to multi-head fillers, cappers, labellers, crate washers and packers, shrink wrappers, blow moulders etc.

Job Description:
Ensure the factory is staffed with the correct budgeted staffing levels. Ensure that overtime forms are checked and signed off before submission to Manufacturing Director.

Ensure the Operators receive the correct Product Training at ‘First Off’ stage
Assistant Setters to be issued with correct tools, and tools and equipment checked and verified on a weekly basis.
Deliver on required Operating Efficiencies, maintain scrap at recommended rate, and manage downtime
Ensure the moulding machines, Production Tools and Ancillary equipment is in good working order.
Ensure tooling can produce parts to the agreed Quality Standard as defined by the ‘Master Sample’.
Ensure production plan is followed, and parts produced within the allocated time frame.
Cycle time of every machine to be achieved and ensure that works order cycle time to be always used.
Machine Cycles recorded on Produmax must balance up with good parts produced and Reject parts produced for the shift.
Works Order must be balanced up, and jobs that are short run are to have the unused material, returned to Stores and signed off on the Works Order.
Machines and factory floor to be cleaned and kept clear of debris, purge, sprues, oil, dust etc.
Implement 4S activities to ensure the factory is always kept clean and tidy.
Boxes / Dunnage’s to be labelled as they are filled. And QC approved boxes / Dunnage’s to be removed from the shop floor to the WIP or FG Store.
Tool Change to start only after all requirements of the check sheet have been met and everything is prepared.
Tool Change times to be kept within the prescribed times.
First off submission to be done within the prescribed time.
Correct Tool Breakdown procedure to be followed.
All documentation to be available at Workstation before production can commence.
Hourly Production patrols done on machines to ensure compliance to cycle time, hourly count and quality.
2% Rejection Procedure and Escalation to be strictly followed.

BOILERMAKER:
* Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layouts and procedures.
* Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
* Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws, gas cutting equipment to match measurements).
* Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
* Align components using calipers, rules etc. and clamp pieces.
* Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
* Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
* Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
* Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
