•Support staff Comprehensive assessment of disabled clients
•Management of individual cases
•Running development skill activities with disabled children
•Demonstrates a responsibility towards promoting the educational and developmental potential of all participants
•Ability to work independently
•Good time management
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Supervisory experience will be an advantage
Requirements:
•A recognized B degree in Occupational Therapy Registration with the H.P.C.S.A as an Occupational Therapist
•At least 3 years clinical experience.
•Experience in physical/vocational rehabilitation will be an advantage
•A course/experience in Rehabilitation and Functional Assessment an advantage

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
Camphill
Village is a rural, residential, working farm community which offers support
and work opportunities for people living with intellectual disabilities and is
currently offering employment for an Occupational Therapist.
Duties
includes:
·
Developing Individual Development Plans for individual residents i.e
assessment, goal setting, treatment plans and regular follow up and adjustments
of the IDPs.
·
Individual, group and community work with staff and residents in line
with their training and development needs.
·
Conducting holistic assessment of residents in all areas of their life
including self-care, leisure and work as well as their physical, sensory and
cognitive functioning.
·
Supporting all staff in training and development in accordance with
the above.
·
Working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team with a keen team
spirit.
·
Involvement in marketing and market related events, meetings, planning
and set-up.
·
Support in Enterprises (for staff and residents) with resident’s
individual physical and developmental needs.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s licence
Experience in working with people with ID
