A well established, independent community pharmacy based in Belhar, Cape Town is seeking a registered pharmacist with minimum 1 year experience (preferrable).
The candidate is expected to be hard-working, professional, vibrant and is able to work well as part of a team that operates in a diverse environment.
The independent pharmacy forms part of a medical complex and is well established and respected within the Belhar community.
Requirements:
Qualifications: BPharm and SAPC registered.
Experience and knowledge:
• Proven experience as a pharmacist with contactable references advantageous.
• Computer literate.
• Familiar with medical aids and claims processes and procedures will be advantageous, even though on site training will be provided.
• SAPC regulatory compliance.
• Familiar with all tasks and responsibilities expected of a pharmacist as per the SAPC.
• Ability to work and make decisions independently and function as part of a team.
• Manage pharmacy and sales team.
• Patient focused.
• Comfortable dealing with diverse customers in a community pharmacy environment.
• Understanding pharmacological principles, drug interactions, dosages and general pharmaceutical care.
