Duties include: - Directly liaising with international clients & agents via various communications channels such as email,
telephone, social media etc., for various inbound enquiries
- Planning and designing itineraries, combining appropriate accommodations and destinations- Managing the reservation process for bookings up until completion of travel- Fast turnaround time on all enquiries - Occasional Saturday duty (on a rotational basis- ca every 6-8 weeks) - Travelling will be required for educational trips (We only sell what we have personally experienced!)
The ideal candidate would fulfill the following requirements:
Knowledge required: - Good destination knowledge for Tanzania, Kenya, Botswana, Namibia and/ or South Africa
- Knowledge and understanding of tour operating and reservations processes based on study and/or
work experience Skills:- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Have a good telephone manner and excellent communication skills - Possess excellent organizational skills and be able to multi- task System skills: - Computer literate with MS-Office, especially Word, Excel, as well as E- Mail applications-/client such as
Outlook or Thunderbird
- Working experience in electronic reservation systems
Work experience: - Minimum of three year’s travel and/or tour consulting experience
Tertiary Education:
Travel and Tourism (or related) preferred but not essential.

The role of a Hydraulic Technician (Offshore) involves crucial responsibilities related to the maintenance and repair of hydraulic machinery and equipment in offshore mining and plant operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Group Safety and Security policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive Risk Assessments for all activities to identify potential hazards and implement necessary safety measures.
Permits: Ensure compliance with necessary permits, including Permits to Work, especially for activities such as Hot Work.
Maintenance and Repairs: Perform safe inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all mining and plant equipment and machinery. Follow instructions provided by the Mechanical Supervisor (MECH SUPV) and Technical Supervisor (TECH SUPT).
Tool Maintenance: Maintain work tools in a safe and properly maintained condition, and ensure they are stored securely.
ROV Support: Assist in the launch and recovery of ROV seabed tools when required.
Housekeeping: Maintain proper housekeeping standards at all work sites to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
Hydraulics Certificate: Possess a certificate or qualification related to hydraulics to demonstrate expertise in hydraulic systems.
Trade Theory: Strong understanding of trade theory relevant to hydraulic equipment and machinery.
Offshore Experience: Have experience working in offshore installations and performing hydraulic maintenance and repair tasks.
Valid Passport: Maintain a current and valid passport for travel and offshore assignments.
Seafarers Medical Certificate: Hold a valid Seafarers Medical certificate issued in RSA (Republic of South Africa) or Namibia.
Police Clearance Certificate (PCC): Possess a valid Police Clearance Certificate issued in RSA or Namibia.
Seamans Record Book: Maintain a Seamans Record Book issued in RSA or Namibia, as it may be required for offshore work.
STCW Courses: Have completed relevant STCW (Standards of Training, Certification & Watchkeeping for Seafarers) courses to meet industry standards and safety requirements.

Job Description
Purpose and Scope:
The CAPE Region - Area Manager - reports to the Operations and Business Development Directors and has the responsibility to organise, control and coordinate all activities in the region (Eastern/ Western/ Northern Cape and Namibia).
The Area Manager is responsible for ensuring that all tasks and duties that are allocated are carried out in an Efficient, Safe and Profitable manner and that all Company Policies and Procedures, Clients Specifications and Regulations and Legal and Statutory Requirements are adhered to at all times.
Key Performance Area 1: Business Development:
* The Area Manager will take on the role and responsibilities for all Business Development activities for the area, who will be supported and guided by the Business Development Director.
* This position requires the incumbent to play a vital role in securing new projects which in turn requires a direct input to the Business Development Team and Management.
* Supporting the Marketing and Estimating function by keeping abreast of industry developments and identifying business opportunities with existing, new and previous clients in line with the divisions business strategy; meeting or improving the sales KPIs as set out and agreed too.
* Develop a detailed Sales Strategy and Plan for the area in line with the companies Budget which is to be reviewed monthly with the Business Development Director.

* To spend at least 50% of time on Business Development activities with clients and looking for new sales opportunities in the region.

* Responsible for managing the Site Supervisors, Site Administrators, Safety Officers, and all other Site Employees including any office-based staff.
* Planning, monitoring of contracts in hand, to ensure that work is executed within the budgets allowed and in accordance with the contractual programme
* Assess and provide accurate value related input to the financial reporting system.
