I have a - 1997 Pajero SWB 3000 V6 4x4 and a 1959 Landrover Series 2 to trade for a landrover defender 90 SWB..
The pajero and series 2 landy are in immaculate condition. They both are Mechanically perfect and daily runners.. the landy series 2 is fully restored and complete with its original petrol 2 1/4 engine.
Lookimg for a Defender tDi 90 Swb.. must be in a good condition..
Chassis, engine, ignition system and body generally in good condition. Kilometres are on reconditioned engine - I don't know what they were before. Custom bodywork (wheel arches), paintwork, ostrich skin inside the doors, stainless steel cubby hole lids show this has been a much loved vehicle. I do not have the time to bring her up to roadworthy; it won't take that much.
Needs a new paint job, firewall needs welding. Gearbox currently sitting out - there are two; in the original a synchro spring popped out, so I bought a new one (2nd hand but definitely running). I just haven't had the time to spend on putting it in. I bought a Defender so I would rather put my maintenance hours into that.
Selling as is for R15000. If I find the time to put the gearbox in I will sell for R20000, and if I manage to do the other bits and pieces it will easily sell for R30000. A beautiful vehicle which deserves a good home.
