For sale is a very special, probably one of a kind Escort Cosworth replica. Car was built in Cape Town using a 1996 MK6 Escort body fitted with a full MK5 Escort Cosworth drive train.
Car sports complete 4x4 drive train and dash from the famous Cossie, but housed in a 5dr shell. Specs include:
YB Cosworth engine. Proper 200 block. GT35 anti-surge turbo boosting 1.2Bar.
All wheel drive, with 5 speed manual gearbox and button clutch.
Schalk's conversions built exhaust manifold with full stainless exhaust, including screamer pipe.
650cc RC injectors. Adjustable boost controller (Go Faster Bits).
Brand new Dictator 36-1 with R8 individual coils.
Launch control (vrrrrr-pa) added… as if the car itself doesn’t draw enough attention already. Defi multi gauge unit to monitor vitals. OMP deep dish steering. Height and damper/rebound adjustable shocks. Dyno tuned by JMS running a healthy 173kw and 293NM on all 4 wheels. On 95 pump gas and a little NF at a safe 1.2 Bar. Car can be used as a daily driver or just a toy. Car has been meticulously maintained.
The perfect combination of having a Cosworth, at a fraction of the price. PLUS you can drive it as a daily without the risk of damaging a true collectors car. Spares that comes with car: Full set of moulds for the front fenders, side skirts rear arches, front splitter and hockey sticks.
