Podcasts guests wanted for pilot episodes - not to be broadcast.

Guests wanted for ‘dry run’ podcast episodes recorded in Cape Town based studios. Format: audio only 1 to 1 semi-structured interview concluding with the guest (you) revealing a resolution that listeners can take away. Guests may be anonymised. Length: 50-60 minutes including intros and outrosTheme: Breakups including romantic/divorce, friendships, familial, and material breakups (e.g: social media). Scope of interview: (1) guest must be comfortable discussing their breakup and must NOT still be in the process of the event, (2) guest must not expect their participation to resolve their issue or repair the breakup, (3) willing to be constructively challenged on some issues, and (4) capitalise on lighthearted moments since the breakup. Structure: (1) Hook, (2) guest shares their breakup story, the host will seek clarity on issues if needed, (3) timeline of grieving and tactics to push through, (4) errors made in the grieving process, (5) closing question: would you erase the suffering you felt but keep the memories of the breakup or keep it all. The above is subject to change and with all great interview formats, often, the narrative takes listeners on a journey they did not expect. Objective: record and edit three episodes in the space of a week to be released to you only, not for publication unless (1) you want it to be, and (2) we think it will pull in listeners. N.B: this is not a ‘self-help/hack your breakup/5 steps to win them back etc’ podcast. It is a podcast made of stories from breakups, a near universal experience that transcends culture, religion, race, wealth and all in between. Interested?
