The White Robed Monks of St Benedict is a Catholic Religious Order of Priests and Monks in the tradition of the Old (Dutch) Catholic Church. We minister to all who approach us and officiate at Catholic, Inter-Denominational, Non-Denominational, Inter faith and Civil wedding ceremonies. Because of our non-judgmental approach to Catholicism, many divorced Catholics or those wishing to have their wedding ceremony at a venue of their choice, approach us. We work with couples to create a ceremony to be exactly how they would like to celebrate their commitment – small and intimate or big and extravagant. We officiate at ceremonies throughout South Africa, at the venue of the couple’s choice or at one of our chapels in the Johannesburg area. Marriage certificates are issued on the day of the ceremony, issue the couples with a certified copy of their marriage register and we have the marriage registered at the Department of Home Affairs. Besides officiating at wedding ceremonies, we also offer pastoral counseling and support to the couple after the wedding day.
