REPAIR MANUAL
SUPPLEMENTImprovement of Motor Drive Model F-36 and F-250
The following improvements have been carried out in the design of the
Nikon Motor Drive Model F-36 and F-250 which are delivered since oc-
tober, 1962, for the purpose of further increasing the durability es-
pecially of the built-in switches. Therefore, if it happens to under-
take some repairs or checking of the inside switches. it is desirable
to do the amendments described in Section 1 and 2.
For the Motor Drive Model 8-36 (to be used on the Nikon SP) and 8-72
(to be used on the Nikon SSM), do the amendments described below in
Section 2.
Section 1 Time lag device (E-Assembly) and time lag switches (N-
Assembly)
The improvement has been made in view of securing the contact
pressure by preventing poor contact of the time lag switches.
1a. The new type Motor Drive differs from the earlier in the fol-
lowing points. (See Fig. 6-1 and 6-2)
la-(l) Instead of pin #281 provided on the fly wheel (#255) in the
earlier type, closing of the switch is made by means of insu-
lating pin #282 A, B on the end of switch closing lever #281
attached to base plate #256 and a cam added to the fly wheel
(#255).
