Dear Sub-contractor Talbot Transport is a rental company that offer rental service of 34ton horse and super link side tipper trailers to the logistic industry. Due to the large demand of trucks required we offer a package to transporters who owns the above required units to Sub- contract under Talbot Transports banners. Documents Required to apply for approval: Spreadsheets of trucks inclusive of drivers contact details. Copy of Truck and trailers registration docs including copy of license discs Copy of goods in transit insurance (G.I.T) and comprehensive insurance. Copy of drivers I.D/ Passport including work permit, Driver’s license PDP & Medicals. Copy of tracker certificate. Truck owner copy of ID and CIPC Documents. Proof of Company or Truck owner’s residence not older than 3 months. Email info@talbottransport.co.za What we offer once you are Approved: Upfront payment of R38,000.00 to run one of the above routes as a trial run for two weeks and R7,000.00 to pay driver for the two weeks run plus a further R5,000.00 for truck maintenance after one month’s cycle is completed. After successful trial run you will be required to repeat the same route for another two weeks with the same payout structure as above to complete month’s cycle. (Please note if we are not satisfied with your service you will not run any further with Talbot Transport). Once your first month’s trial run cycle is complete we will offer month to month, six months or 12 months contracts. Approved longer term sub-contractor’s payout: Upfront R40,000.00 paid after month’s agreement is signed to run two weeks and a payout of R40,000.00 every two weeks until contact expires. Driver salary R7,000.00 paid after two weeks work done and every two weeks after. We will pay a R5,000 maintenance pay out for truck serviceable parts after every month after every month’s cycle run completed. What Talbot Transport covers on trial run and longer term approved contracts: All diesel is paid by Talbot Transport. All tollgates are paid by Talbot Transport. All tyre wear is paid by Talbot Transport. All air bags are paid by Talbot Transport.
