Painting 1
A Masterpiece by South African born Artist Hargreaves Ntukwana
Ntukwana born in 1938 and lived in Dalmini, Soweto
First gaining recognition for his art when he designed a cover for the album "Dollar Brand Underground in Africa"
Ntukwana exhibited globally with his first solo exhibition in London in 1973
Using a technique of blowing diluted oils onto paper, wiping the excess with cloth and cotton swabs then inking over the colour background when it was dry
The iconic artist’s signature is very visible on painting
A stunning large painting is on offer
The painting has been newly framed (still in plastic), with protective glass
Colours used predominantly are brown and red
