The boxes have tight fitting lids, solid joints and brass hinges. The entire box is made from Australian Blackwood and they have solid joints. No cheap wood inlays or nails are used.

You can use the boxes as is, or you can wax, varnish, dye, ink, scent, burn, laser, decoupage, mod podge or label them..
