Qualified Gas Technician

Qualified Gas TechnicianA property development company based in Cape Town NorthernSuburbs is seeking an energetic and self-motivated Gas Technician to join theteam . The ideal incumbent will be a qualified with a gas installationaccreditation. The Technician will be responsible for the performance ofrequired installations and maintenance activities in and around the NorthernSuburbs operational sites effectively , efficiently and safely. Duties and Responsibilities - Primary installation of Gas supply toResidential and/or Commercial sites - Performance of planned &unplanned maintenance activities as directed; - Assisting with and performance of identifiedproject activities as directed;- Reporting on maintenance, project& safety activities performed; - Compliance to required safety systemsand protocols. - Issuing a COC Desired ExperienceQualification - A Matric certificate with Maths andScience; - A valid, unendorsed code 08 driver’slicense; - Must be a registered and valid GasPractitioner with SACGA; - A minimum of 5 years of mechanicalmaintenance work experience; - Must have good verbal and writtencommunication skills; - Must be computer literate andproficient in the MS Office Suite;- Must be willing to work shifts andovertime as and when required;- Must be willing to be on standby onweekends and public holidays; - Must be willing to travel extensivelyas and when required; Education and Experience Requirements:Ø High school diploma - 1-3 years experience - Valid driver’s licenseSound like you?
