Mechanical Foreman

A manufacturing company in Durban is looking for a Mechancial Foreman.Incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the site, machinery, equipment and utilities used operate at their maximum availability, reliability and efficiency in compliance with the OSH Act 85 of 1993 as well as the latest relevant Mechanical engineering standard and best practise. This includes effecient planning, supervision and execution of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance in order to achieve the aforementioned objectives.5 Years post relevant trade test experience i.e. Mechanical – Fitting Trade Test & Electrical – Electrician Trade Test. Must have strong technical expertise and must be hands on.5 years Supervisory experience. Must have strong supervisory experience with the ability to delegate tasks and hold subordinates accountable.Must have experience in a Manufacturing environment with Preventative and Predictive maintenance experience. Must have a proactive culture.
