Maintenance Technician

Kuils RiverPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Maintenance of air compressors, nitrogen generators and carbon dioxide scrubbers.Electro-mechanical fault finding.Project installation of new equipment on site, including pipe-work and electro-mechanical assemble.On-site client liaison and Sales: Apart from the technical servicing role the incumbent is expected to fulfil an important PR role in promoting the Client’s Services offered.JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience)Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.Organised, able to work independently with a very hands-on approach.Must have a demonstrated interest in mechanical equipment and an appetite to understand the Client’s proprietary equipment control software.Comfortable to work under stress and should be willing to travel locally.Must be innovative and self-reliant and contribute to the effectiveness of the company.Compliant with Client’s policies on Safety and behavioural standardsPROFILE:High energy individual. Must have a very Hands-on approachMechanical or Electrical Diploma at least N2 level or have plans to achieve this minimal level.
