East LondonMinimum Requirements:Relevant Trade Test10+ Years experience in automotive maintenance3+ Years experience in a management positionResponsibilities:Assist team on any extended or critical maintenanceAP MaintenanceSet up all equipment and planned maintenance procedures according to manufacturer’s specifications from scratchManage critical spare parts store and ensure availability of consumables and spare partsPurchasing: Part of the purchasing team and do purchases for production, quality and logistics as well as own departmentAnnual budget planningFacility maintenanceEnsure up keep of building maintenancePreparing and conforming to ISO, VDA and IATF auditsManage maintenance department of 9 technicians and 2 students (1 x PLC specialist, 2 x Robotic specialists, 1 x Shimzer, 5 maintenance technicians and 2 x students)Signing off of timesheetsManage trainingCoordinate shifts, standby, weekend and shutdown workManagement KPI meeting presentation of power consumption, OEE and downtimeEnsure maintenance is carried outBreakdown analysis to identify problem areas or recurring faultsWriting procedures and works instructions for certain tasks and functions
