Facilities Technician

East LondonMinimum requirements:Qualified electrician3-5 years of working experience in facilities maintenanceGood understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentryAbility to work with minimal supervisionMust demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skillsMust be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-taskRole requirements:Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systemsMaintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and building repairsPerform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operationsPrepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be takenSupervise contractors for both facilities and production maintenance when requiredSupports the production maintenance team when requiredComply with all safety procedures and requirements
