Job Opportunity: Junior Draughtsman

Are you a skilled CAD Designer with a passion for precision and problem-solving? We are currently seeking a talented Junior individual to join our dynamic team. If you possess a solid foundation in AutoCAD and either Inventor or Solidworks modelling, along with a keen eye for detail and a knack for tackling complex challenges, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Utilize AutoCAD, as well as either Inventor or Solidworks modelling software, to create detailed and accurate designs, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and manufacturing specialists, to incorporate design modifications and ensure compliance with manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of drawings to identify potential issues or areas for improvement and provide effective solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and version control of design files, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.

Job Qualifications:

• Tertiary Certificate in Draughting will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of 2D and 3D design principles.
• Experience with either Inventor or Solidworks modelling software will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with manufacturing requirements and the ability to incorporate them into design specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve design issues and optimize designs for efficiency.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in every aspect of the design process.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
