Technical Sales Representative (Postmasburg) Purpose of the Job:Ensure that the company is registered as a local supplier on all vendor lists of the mining and industrial clients in the Postmasburg / Kathu (Northern Cape) local area. Actively promote the sale of company services to new and existing customers. Represent the company as a local supplier of Diesel/Motor Engineer and Field services in the Northern Cape.QualificationsMatric with English & AfrikaansA recognised technical qualification (Diesel/Petrol + Field Service) will be an advantage.A legal driver’s licence Technical Competencies & Experience:Computer literacy– good general computer knowledge and experience in Windows, MS Word, Outlook and Excel.At least 3 - 5 years Technical Sales in Mining & ConstructionSuitable applicants must have Technical mining sales background and be at ease with earthmoving equipment or Mining MachineryMust be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language, as well as Afrikaans.Must be a resident in the Northern Cape (Kathu or surrounding areas) for a minimum of 5 yearsBehavioural CompetenciesTarget DrivenDetail orientatedStrong communication skills both written and oral.Diligent work ethic and strives for excellenceAbility to operate independently as well as part of a team Committed to establishing and developing close business relationships with potential clients, afterhours when necessaryRemuneration:Highly competitive, but dependent upon qualifications and experience.
