Description

iKhokha is looking for a strategic, data-driven & creative Head of Acquisition . We're looking for the best in the business and someone who has deep exposure to working within a digitally native business. The Head of Acquisition will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will work hand-in-hand with the Product, Business Insights and Retention teams to drive growth.

So, what will you do?

You will be part of the senior leadership team that enables rapid growth.

You will lead the team responsible for building the brand, marketing our products and acquiring new customers.

The Deal Breakers:
Minimum marketing degree, Honours/MBA preferable
Advanced & proven strategic, analytical and creative thinking skills
Advanced & proven people management experience
Minimum of 6-8 year's experience in Marketing/Growth/Acquisition leadership role
Solid knowledge of analytics/martech toolsets
Experience in leading, managing, and optimising growth performance
Experience with digitally native brands is preferable
Data driven decision maker
The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition of new merchants across the first half of our customer journey. This includes demand creation and conversion through:
Digital and Performance Marketing - being able to develop, lead and execute on effective marketing and gtm strategies
ATL / Offline Media - being able to plan, budget, track, measure and report
Content Marketing and PR - being able to develop the strategy, lead and execute accordingly
The candidate will be responsible for the management of the overall Brand and will have an in-house creative and design studio under their management to guide and execute the growth objectives. Successful partnering with the Retention Team as well as the Product Management team will ensure that the conversion of merchants into our world is continuously optimized, and monthly reporting on the cost of acquisition, lifetime value of merchants, channel conversion percentages, and market share will keep the Acquisition team focused on the job to be done.

Finally, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy, leading the team responsible for paid media, seo, planning and performance across all online and offline channels for the business. You will provide leadership and direction to all the Marketing Functions within the Growth Division and support all sales channels.
