DigSim (Dignified Simplicity) is open for like-minded people to join us building an Intentional micro-Community, on our tranquil and beautiful smallholding situated about 30kms outside of Howick in the lush, green Karkloof Valley. On our central homestead area (around 6 hectares), we have a few stands ready to be fenced, and fed with clean borehole drinking water, and onto which suitably interested people can introduce a removeable tiny house/ home (custom built/ container home/ bus/ yurt/ tee-pee/ yacht on trailer, floating home/ houseboat, motorhome, caravan, etc). This is self-sustainable living at its best, off grid, in harmony with Nature and others who prefer a more self-reliant lifestyle. Rates and conditions are very reasonable and friendly, with labour and fair exchange options available to minimise monetary transactions. We have a wonderful farmyard atmosphere already, with some animals (donkeys, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits already as family), plus indoor and outdoor food gardens, and fruit orchard, all growing. Possibility exists for permanent dwellers, as well as weekenders/ casuals, and we also have (separately and alongside) some farmland available for those wishing to conduct a little farming.
