MATUS No Hub Pipe Couplings

The Universal SSN No Hub Pipe Couplings were designed in collaboration with

the plumbing industry, to provide a robust product to join and repair cast iron

pipes and fittings, but they may also be used on PVC pipes.

The shield / clamp assembly is manufactured from full 300 series AISI stainless

steel components to provide a superior resistance to corrosion in both under-

ground and open applications.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

• The clamping compression bands are specially manufactured to take higher tightening torques that

standard clamps.

• Has elongated hex head screw to permit easier socket fitting and assembly.

• The bands are spot welded to the shield in a jig to safeguard correct alignment

• The gasket is specially moulded from EPDM compound and is resistant to diluted acids normally fiund in

the plumbing environment.

• The gasket is designed not to leak.

• The clamps are bi-directional when the same size pipe is used.
