WW1 Comrades of The Great War Womens Auxiliary Badge and Armband

This antique badge and armband were worn by my grandmother when she belonged to the WW1 Comrades of The Great War Womens Auxiliary circa 1918. The 30mm circular badge features a Union Jack flag in red, white and blue colours, on a gold background. Around this are bands of blue and white enamel featuring the logo in gold writing. The enamel on the front of the badge is in pristine condition. The reverse side features the maker's name 'J. R. Gaunt London' and a number 1327. It has slight corrosion marks on the back. The pin mechanism works perfectly. The armband is made of black felt-type material lined with black cotton-type material, and is closed with the original black buttons. The condition of the band is perfect.
