Vintage ships brass portholes from Foundry Fontanini 1933, Udine, Italy
Pair of these beautiful vintage matching portholes available
Mass is 21 kilograms each (42 kilograms for both)
40cm diameter at widest point
Brass cover of porthole 28cm
Diameter of glass 26cm
Fonderie Fontanini, Udine, Italy was founded in 1930's and produced brass portholes up until the 1960's
The Foundry Fontanini produced brass portholes for about 480 ships during the period 1930's to the 1960's
The Fonderie Fontanini produced brass portholes for such cruise liners as SS Andrea Doria (maiden voyage 1953, sank 1956) and SS Michelangelo (maiden voyage 1965, out of service 1975) and SS Raffaello (maiden voyage 1965, out of service 1975)
