Description

Very Rare vintage 'For Fire Shur-Line Kit' wall mounted metal box with 6 unused glass grenades consisting of a fire retardant liquid. They were designed to be thrown at the base of the fire. They then vaporized and the gas extinguished the fire.

Manufactured between 1899 and 1933 by Shur Line International, New York, USA. Very difficult to find a complete set in South Africa.
