Karman KS15 AlNiCo 5 Strat Guitar Pickup (Set)

Set of 3 pickups (neck, middle and bridge positions).

Karman KS15 pickups are high quality AlNiCo 5 single coil electric guitar pickups in our Standard series, we saved costs by using plastic bobbins as apposed to vulcanized fibre and plastic hookup leads as apposed to braided cloth wire as these 2 factors do not contribute much to over-all sound but do affect the manufacturing costs quite a bit (if you want vulcanized fibre bobbins and cloth wire please see either our Classic Pro or Vintage Pro pickups). These pickups still have good quality copper coil wire, quality Alnico magnets and workmanship that our Pro series have.

KS15 Specification:

Classic bluesy style pickups, kind of in-between vintage sound and modern. You have nice crisp clear tones in the neck and middle that you would expect from a vintage early 60’s pickup but with a little more low-end than your average vintage pickup. The bridge is slightly overwound to make it hotter and more suitable for over-drive.

Middle pickup is reversed wound

Middle: 5.8K 3.4H 50mm string spacing
