2007 BMW 650 X-challenge, great light-weight off-road tourer, great commuter

I have a BMW 650 Xchallenge for sale, 45,000km, registered in my name and licence up to date. The bike is in overall good condition. There is quite a big dent in the rear wheel, but she still rides just fine...

Most people have never heard of this bike, but those that have them, love them. It is the only real off-road trail bike ever made by BMW, and only made for 2 years in 2007/2008 until BMW realised there was more profit selling big heavy touring bikes than actual offroad bikes :(

Its basically an off-road bike with the minimum of changes made to make it streetable and durable - cush drive, large comfy seat, pillion pegs, larger coolant and oil capacity, ABS, dash, proper lighting, indicators, hooter, mounting points for luggage rack, etc. Weight is up to 144kg and power is 53hp from the well-known Rotax 650 single, but with BMW's fuel injection. There are many 650's in facebook groups that have done over 160,000km.

The 650 actually makes a good commuter, not fast but very quick away from the lights, narrow & nimble, and riding up & down pavements is dead easy. Plus the fuel consumption is amazing - I always get between 3.6l (around town) and 3.9l per 100km (if you're cruising at 120kph).

- It has a lowered seat (it is a tall bike with big suspension travel and ground clearance. Usually you have to be close to 6feet tall, but the seat is 2" lower than standard so maybe 5'9 upwards will be OK ?)
