Why install a BoosterPlug?

What is the issue with poor fuelling?
Lean mixtures typically lead to hot running engines, pinking, surging, feeling like the bike wants to fall over in a roundabout, vibrating engine, rough gear changes, surging at constant speeds and sometimes temporary engine seizures.

What does BoosterPlug do?
It tells the ECU that it is 20°C cooler, thus adding 6% petrol when needed most (in open-loop operation when the Lambda sensor is too slow to react). It makes the engine run cooler, accelerate better, bike ride smoother, stops clutch feathering to ride smoother, smoother gear changes.

What if I fitted aftermarket pipes and filters?
These make your bike breathe better, but aggravates lean fuelling symptoms. BoosterPlug adds the right amount of fuel to make your bike go well again, especially off idle and in the lower half of the rpm range where the effect is felt most.

Does it activate the warning light or affect the warranty?
Something like a Power Commander wipes the fuel map, and O2 sensor mods are is immediately picked up. BoosterPlug retains the standard fuel map and is not detected, so it is perfectly safe to use. It does not affect the warranty.

Is it difficult to install?
BoosterPlug is Plug 'n Play - no wires cut. Installation is easy.
