East LondonProvide strong leadership and day to day management for key aspects of the work and development of the companyPlan, direct or co-ordinate warehouse and line feed activities across 3 shiftsManage logistics personnel and logistics systems and direct operationsResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth running of all operational teams within the departmentsEnsure stable production through accurate and timeous supply of components to the production lineResponsible for HR, Health and Safety and Risk Management functionsEnsure standardised work is followedInterface directly with all aspects of the organisation operational activities allowing an objective high-level assessment of overall effectiveness and efficiency to be ascertained and monitoredEncourage and promote shopfloor participation on problem solvingMaintain discipline and high level of daily attendanceDevelop efficient communication structures between levels and between shiftsDevelopment a health and safety cultureAdherence to QMSResponsible for customer liaisonResponsible for customers satisfaction surveyHandle IR related issuesREQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree / NQF Level 7 Engineering related Qualification8 Years relevant experience
