The property is situated on the border of the Namakwaland and Boesmanland in the Northern Cape where the Orange River forms the border between South Africa and Namibia. The Northern Cape is the largest and most sparsely populated province of South Africa and Afrikaans is by far the most widely spoken language, spoken by 83% of the population.

The nearest town is Pofadder, about 88km to the South, Kakamas 120 km to the East, and the border post to Namibia at Onseepkans about 45km to the West. A 30km gravel access road leads to the secluded and safely isolated property's main entrance gate, and as one gets closer to the property excitement kicks in as the undulating terrain starts to beckon you into this barren but beautifully vegetated landscape. Although not as abundant as the West Coast of Namaqualand, when summer rain falls, a hauntingly beautiful flowering landscape appears on some of the plains.

The farm has spectacular landscapes of large mountains and stony hills scattered across the terrain, with valleys, plains, and riverbeds in-between. Flora consists of mixed desert and savanna vegetation with a variety of grass types, shrubs, and succulents. Beautiful trees like Camel Thorne, Shepherd, Quiver, and Acacia are visible everywhere. A variety of game species like Oryx and Springbuck are already established and together with the free-roaming Kudus and mountain Reedbuck, the game creates a beautiful wildlife setting.
