This house has been available on Booking.com and Airbnb as a self catering accommodation the last 2 yrs under the name 7 Onserus (references are available that property exists or video call can be done).
The house is located in a complex in the up market northern suburb of Cape Town called Plattekloof. It is a 5 min walk from the nearest shopping centre, hospital, public transport and a college, all located on the corners of a double carriage way.
The local highschool is 15 min away as well as the N7 to the West coast and Namibia.
The area is very quiet and no taxis are allowed in Plattekloof.
It is fully furnished to guesthouse standards, but can be rented without furniture. No children under 15 if rented with furniture. Only linen and kitchenware will not be available.
The large open plan kitchen, dining room and lounge has direct access via a sliding door to a covered braai room. The braai room faces north onto the pool, and is excellent for entertainin, warm in winter and shaded in summer. There is a wall mounted smart TV in the lounge which comes with the house.
Large main bedroom has en suite and an ac. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a wetroom with a shower.
Bic's in the 3 rooms were added to the French amoirs, adding to the feeling of shabby chic French decor and furniture that were hand painted and decorated, even providing space for seating areas and dressing tables. A full row of cupboards in the garage, next to the main bedroom, are available for the tenant's use.
There is a view over the splash pool of the iconic Table Mountain from 2 bedrooms.
Uncapped fibre supplied wi-fi is available throughout the house. Outside access areas are protected with Magnador sliding gates. There is no direct view or access to the front door, as a security gate with video intecom provides privacy.
Although there is a double garage that has a double automatic garage door, access for 2 medium sized vehicles is tight. But extra parking for 2 cars are available in front of the house, with more off-road parking available in front of the complex. Most residents make use of this extra parking.
There are wall shelves and extra storage space available in more cupboards. The private courtyard has a washing line and storage for the black bins and other outdoor items.
The private kitchen courtyard, as well as all the of the open areas are paved. There is no garden to maintain.

I will be retiring in this house in about 10 yrs, so it is important to me that the property is well maintained.
