Scenic cycle tours of the Southern Peninsula can be arranged. Horse riding can be arranged in the forests or winelands nearby or alternatively in Hout Bay or along the Noordhoek beach. For sport enthusiasts, Newlands Rugby Stadium host international games throughout the year. Taronga is situated half way between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean, only a few minutes drive from either the famous Atlantic Seaboard beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay or the False Bay beaches of Muizenberg, Fish Hoek and St. James. Hout Bay and Llundudno beaches are easy to reach just over Constantia Neck.
