Our home is not only beautiful but has been designed with practicality in mind. It is airy and very light inside and has a lovely flow to it. Although it has a very modern look, the actual feel of the house is very "homely" and comfortable. Our house is also very well protected from the South Easter which sometimes blows in Camps Bay. This means that every day can be a "Braai (BBQ) Day" no matter what the weather.
The house has a built-in outdoor braai, a gas braai and a Weber.
Our house will be your home from home. It is a 598 sq.m house, beautifully modern and spacious without being cold and clinical. It oozes warmth and comfort and has a lovely "feel" to it. We pride ourselves on keeping our home spotlessly clean. All furniture and fittings are of a very high standard. Our house is fully air-conditioned. The views of the Atlantic Ocean and 12 Apostles are breathtaking - truly heaven on earth!
We are also very conveniently situated with Cape Town central only being a 10 minute drive away.
Visitors to our home will be able to access all areas. Our home includes a permanent cleaning service for the duration of your stay. The lady is there to clean the house, do laundry and iron on a daily basis Monday to Friday from 08h00 - 16h30 and Saturday, 08h00 to 12h00. The lady doesn't work on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Please note, an additional charge will be levied should you require her to work after hours. Her responsibilities do not include cooking or shopping for the guests.
Other things to note: Please note that the house is in a very upmarket residential area and we would therefore like to request, in consideration of the neighbors, that noise levels be kept to a minimum after 12 p.m.
House Rules: no smoking, not suitable for pets, no parties or events, not safe or suitable for infants (under 2 years).
Check in is anytime after 2pm, Check out by 10am
Our house is our home and is very seldomly rented out. We would therefore like our guests to treat our home with the same amount of respect and care as they would their own. Unfortunately, we do not allow eating and drinking in the bedrooms as these areas are carpeted. Sorry, no pets!
Please also note that our house is not child safe i.e. we do not have a pool net or stair gates for our staircases. Adult supervision is required. Smoking is not allowed. No events, weddings, large parties allowed without prior permission granted from ourselves. Many thanks! You must also acknowledge. Must climb stairs - our house has 2 flights of steps.

When Jan van Riebeek established a refreshment station for the VOC (Dutch East India Company), the 12 Apostles were covered in forests with lion, leopard and antelope.In competition with the more recent settlers, the Gringqhaique lost their grazing lands on the south east slopes of Table Mountain and in 1657 were restricted to Camps Bay.By 1713 the number of Gringqhaique population had been reduced by measles and smallpox. The road allowed people to cycle out to Camps Bay which had gained popularity as a picnic site.
