Electronics Engineer

Our client is a developer of high-tech instrumentation, electronics and mechanical systems and seeks to employ a suitably qualified Electronics Engineer to join their professional team. Position is based in Sutherland, Northern Cape.

For the position you would be required to have:
B. Eng/ B. Sc in Electronics Engineer ESSENTIAL
10 years post qualification experience
Proficient in Office applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and high technology environment
Experience working with low voltage (0-1000V AC) electrical power
Experience with electronic systems development, fault finding, debugging and support
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
Experience with digital and analogue electronics
Experience with control system analysis, design, development, and integration
Responsibilities would include you to:
Compile (sub)system specifications
Design and develop electronic/electro-mechanical systems
Ensure configuration control of subsystems documentation
Subsystem performance analysis and reporting
Execute design reviews
Fault finding and correcting faults
Perform standby duties
Lead a team of electronics technicians
Write and/or contribute to international conference papers
This is a senior role and a remuneration package commensurate with experience is on offer
