The Role:
An Inern required to assist with day-to-day support on IT equipment (hardware and software) for our MES Team.

Other related IT certification
Preferred Qualifaction:
N. Diploma in IT/BSc IT or MCSE/MCSA
Experience required:
This is an internship; hence any theoretical knowledge is critical; if the person have 1 year experience within IT, the candidate might also apply to learn and advance his/her skillset.
Key Accountabilities:
Resposibilities:
Assist with day-to-day support on IT equipment (hardware and software)
Anti-Virus support (McAfee) 
Patch Management
Incident and request management 
Assist with submission of changes
Assist with setup and configuring of monitoring
Assist with backups and restore actions
Assist with managing users within AD

Work environment:
The position will require that the person needs to be at the manufacturing plant during working hours in Secunda. Offices onsite will be provided to the candidate; this will most likely be open plan offices where you will work together with the team.
Travel:
Travelling is required. Own transport and driverâ??s license is essential. Travelling should be minimal as the plant is close the offices where support will be rendered from.
Physical demands:
The physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving. Equipment is typical in the range from 12-25kg that needs to be worked with
