Teacher for Young Toddler ClassWe are a Pre Primary and Primary School, situated in Richwood (near Burgundy Estate). We are looking for a committed Foundation Phase Teacher with at least 2 years experience to Teach our Young Toddler class (ages 14-24 months) and complement our qualified workforce of educators. The ideal candidate will be passionate about children. You will be responsible for preparing and implementing an age appropriate educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to learners while also helping them develop their personalities and skills.Please take note of the following:This is a potty training classThis is a busy age group and the candidate should be fun and energeticThis class requires a hands-on approach with a teacher that is both patient and gentleResponsibilities (But not limited to)Present age appropriate opportunities to learn in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learningProvide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learningCreate and distribute educational contentAssess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedbackMaintain a tidy and orderly classroomCollaborate with other teachers, parents and stakeholders and participate in regular meetingsPlan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and eventsThe candidate should have an ECD qualification, or be in the process of studying.
