Based in the northern suburbs, this organisation is highly progressive offering generous flexi-time and other benefits. *Responsibilities: * * Participating in an agile development process. * Continuous collaboration to improve the product and delivery processes. * Assisting in weekly team task prioritization and release planning. * Ownership of: * The quality of all deliverables produced and delivered. * The CI/CD vision and managing a backlog of work to achieve that vision. * All automation tests, scripts, builds and pipelines. * All test automation frameworks. * The effectiveness of internal frameworks, tools and systems used. * Regular reporting on all aspects of the automation environment. * Line management for the QA team: * Performance reviews. * Recruitment activities. * Defect and support ticket scrubbing. * Ensuring that all defects are analysed in order to improve test coverage and automation (RCA). *Qualifications: * * Relevant degree, diploma or certifications. *Skills / Experience: * * 5+ years of QA team management experience. * 10+ years of QA experience with an automation focus. * Experience working in an Agile organisation. * Jenkins experience is required. * Jira experience is required: * Board management | Story creation | Defect tracking. * Generating filters, dashboards, and reports. * Day to day administration of work items and issues. * Strong technical aptitude and experience leading teams in delivering quality software. * Track record of delivery in an enterprise software organisation. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. *Travel: * * Must hold a current valid driver's license and passport. * International travel could be required from time to time. *Salary Band: * * Our client is looking to pay up to around R93 000 per month (Before deductions). Depending on qualifications / experience.
