Instrument Technologist

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and repair equipment and instruments according to company standards and zero defect policy
Fault analysis
Quality management
Record keeping
Liaison with contractors
Provide assistance and support to Senior Technicians
Set up work area ensuring that tools are kept in excellent condition
Requirements:
BTech or BEng (Mechatronic Engineering)
3 years' technical experience after qualification
Knowledge of Quality Management Systems
Understanding of schematic diagrams
Able to conduct PCB rework
Good soldering technique
Ability to use electronic and electrical test equipment
Electrical/Electronic fault finding experience
Good communication skills in English and Afrikaans
Willing to work overtime when required
