Talent Manager

Overview:

A growing company with business units both locally and in Africa, seeks to employ a Talent Acquisition and Management Officer to be based in their Head Office (East London). The role reports into the HR Manager. 

 

Minimum requirements:
Completed tertiary qualification within the Human Resources / Industrial or Organisational Psychology field
5+ years working experience, with 3+ years focused in Talent Management
Experience within a multi-branch / multi-business unit environment advantageous
 

Responsibilities:
Responsible for acquiring diversified talent for the Head Office / Support Centre
Plan and conduct recruitment and selection process
Responsible for implementing and enhancing recruitment processes and procedures in markets
Auditing recruitment procedures and policies
Participate in coaching, counselling and advising management and staff to ensure resolution of employment related matters
Determining staffing needs and staffing plans
Perform sourcing to fill open positions
Perform hiring and time to fill analysis on departments and markets
Manage Head Office employee files, forms and contracts
Manage day to day Employee relation issues at Head Office
Facilitate Head Office engagement and development workshops, performance management, leadership builds etc.
On boarding of new Head Office employees
Implementing best practice initiatives around talent acquisition in rest of other markets
