The twinband fertilizer unit has a wide range of applications and is particularly suitable for row crops such as tobacco, potatoes and sugarcane. It enables accurate placement of fertilizer. The metering device, which is driven by a friction free land wheel, is adjusted by a single screw for infinite variation. Once set there are no fluctuations and the application rate is highly accurate. The hopper and chute are manufactured out of corrosive resistant material. The unit is strongly built and is attached to a toolbar by a heavy duty clamp. It can be mounted unto 100 x 100 and 150 x 100 toolbars. Hopper capacity is 125 kgs. An extention bin can be added to double the capacity to 250kgs. Mass empty: 62 Kg It reduces labouring time and cost.
